Nguyên tắc
Khi chuyển các câu hỏi trực tiếp sang dạng gián tiếp, bạn cần lưu ý các quy tắc sau:
- Lùi một thì của câu, ví dụ hiện tại đơn => quá khứ đơn, quá khứ đơn => quá khứ hoàn thành,…
- Thay đổi chủ ngữ, tân ngữ, đại từ sở hữu, tính từ sở hữu.
- Chú ý thay đổi các động từ khiếm khuyết cho phù hợp: can – could, may – might, will – would, must – had to (must).
- Thay đổi trạng từ chỉ thời gian hoặc nơi chốn trong câu.
